Let the dancing begin!

Kate is starting her first dance class next week, so we had to buy tap and ballet shoes, tights, leotards, and a little dance bag to finish off the look. She danced around the dressing room saying that the leotard already made her a "gooder artist." I couldn't agree more.

Open up and say...ahh!!!

Kate had her first visit to the dentist today. She was such a big girl! After a few moments of initial nervousness when she held my hand saying, "I love you, Mommy. I love you, Mommy," with little tears in her eyes, as soon as I moved to the side where the dental hygienist sat, all was well. Kate let her count her 20 teeth, polish, floss, and look around with the mirror and explorer tool. After a successful visit, she happily chose a blue dolphin toothbrush, Spongebob toothpaste, and a tooth-shaped whoopie cushion from the toy bin. So cute!

Kate's first Cardinals game!

Kate had a great time at her first Cards game! Despite a rain delay of about an hour, she lasted until the 6th inning and cheered the team to a 12-4 win. Her favorite cheer was, "Duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh...CHARGE!

My best friends' girls...and now a boy, too!

I feel like such a lucky girl that not only do I have wonderful co-workers and newer friends and lifelong friends I met in college, but I also have retained the very best friends of my childhood. We've gone through so many phases of life together, and now that we have children of our own, it is so fun to watch them grow up together. The top picture is of Shelly's baby girl, Sara, Jenny's daughter, Emmy, and my little mama, Kate. The bottom picture is of the Guidry addition, Bryce.
