Dinner Theater

The first video is Kate showing off the motions to "I'm a Little Teapot" during dinner. The second is her trying to follow along with my somewhat incorrect version of "The Chicken Dance." We both realized by the end that it just wasn't working out:)

I am SUCH a big girl!

Little Miss Kate has been so over her regular high chair for quite some time now. She has been fond of her booster seat...until tonight. She climbed right up into the regular chair and said, "MINA" (that is "mine" with a very pronounced emphasis on the supposed-to-be-silent "e"). I grabbed a phone book, she grabbed her pudding, and all was well. After dinner and a diaper change, she sat on her Dora stove (Safety first!) and started making important calls. The picture with the giant grin is quite posed. She was saying, "Cheese!" She is getting so big; I can hardly stand it! But the bigger she gets, the more she makes me laugh.

Grandma and Grandpa Time!

I'm going back in time with these pictures. The top ones are from July 4th weekend in Bloomington. Kate was among her very favorites all weekend: Grandma and Grandpa, of course, a giant Dora doll, and a mixer so she could help make cookies. The bottom pictures are when Grandma and Grandpa came here for a little "school's about to start fix." We headed to the zoo, and Kate got an up close and personal view of all the animals:) Oh how I wish it could be summer again!
