Kate is a real Renaissance Girl!

Kate has become quite the Renaissance gal. She paints, she cooks, she "reads"...and once we can figure out how to load the other video, you will see that she also dances. In the reading video, the word she keeps saying that may be hard to decipher for the average viewer is Chrysanthemum (which happens to be the title of the book she is reading). Clearly, she is 2 and already reading, right? :)

A "magical" Valentine's Day

On Valentine's Day, we took Kate to The Magic House in Kirkwood. Despite the huge crowd, we managed to make our way through all the rooms and find a few favorite activities. The bubble machines, water play area, and fancy schmancy sandbox were big hits. The grocery store, though, had to be the ultimate in Kate's eyes. She filled up her basket, checked out at the register, returned all her items, and then started over from the top. It was a fun morning. We met Shelly and Jason for lunch at Dewey's, too, so Kate was overjoyed. Pizza is, by far, her favorite food- smart girl!
