We had another fun weekend with Grandma and Grandpa. We went to a little amusement park, played in the sprinkler, took strolls through the garden, hung out in the "zeebo" a.k.a. gazebo, and just laughed at all the funny things Kate had to say. We are counting down the days until summer. Greg has two days left (though he is teaching summer school), and I have seven days remaining. It could not come soon enough!
Kate has a newly established interest in girlie girl things. When walking through the Target clothing section, she will say things like, "Oooh...that's a pretty dress for summer." She likes to play with Mommy's make-up, walk around in high heels, and put on jewelry. Today, she asked to put on nail polish so she could match me. I couldn't help but oblige, and she sat so still, patiently waiting for the polish to dry so that Bailey wouldn't lick it off:) She also enjoys picking out her own clothes to wear. Notice the first and last photos...interesting to say the least!
